Updated 20 October 2026
Most people choose an internship track by its name. For the Saiket Systems internship programs in 2026 that is a risky shortcut, because the same program covers two quite different kinds of work: building software, and turning data into decisions. The internship page on saiket.in lists 16 tracks, and the registration forms behind them show a few more domains than the page does. This guide goes through what is actually published, separates the technology tracks from the analytics tracks, shows what you should be able to do before day one, and gives you a way to judge your own work at the end of the 30 days. It assumes you are a student or fresher who can already do a little in the area you pick.
What we checked
On 20 October 2026 we read the saiket.in home page, its internship page, the internship terms and conditions dated 21 June 2025, and three of the registration forms that the track cards open: the software and web form, the data and AI form, and the analytics and reporting form. We did not open the forms for Java, Python and C/C++. The pages do not list the tasks you receive, the tools you must use or the mentors, so the skills tests, project briefs and schedule below are our suggestions and are labelled that way.
How the program is organised
The internship page shows 16 track cards under four filters: Data Visualization, Data/AI, Development and Programming. Each card opens a Google registration form, and the form is shared by a group of tracks.
| Group | Cards on the internship page | Domains offered on the form |
|---|---|---|
| Software and web | Software Development, Web Development, Full Stack Development, UI/UX Design, Front End Development, Android Development | Web Development, Front End Development, Software Development, Full Stack Development, UI/UX Design, Android Development, Flutter Development, MERN Stack Development |
| Data and AI | Data Science, Data Analyst, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence | Data Science, Data Analyst, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence |
| Analytics and reporting | Power BI, Business Analytics, Data Visualization (Microsoft Excel) | The same three |
| Programming | Java Developer, Python Developer, C/C++ Programming | Not checked |
Two details are easy to miss. Flutter, MERN Stack and Data Engineering appear as choices on the forms but not as cards on the page, so ask support before assuming they are open. And the forms describe a virtual internship of 30 days in which selected candidates work remotely and report to a supervisor, which is more than the track cards say.
Technology or analytics: which fits you?
| Analytics tracks | Software and web tracks | Data science and ML tracks | |
|---|---|---|---|
| A typical day | Cleaning a messy table, answering a business question, building a chart or dashboard | Writing, running and fixing code against a spec | Preparing data, training a model, checking where it fails |
| Start with | Comfortable Excel; some SQL helps | One language and Git basics | Python and basic statistics |
| Tools to expect (our guess) | Excel, Power BI Desktop, SQL | An editor, a framework, a browser or emulator | Python, Pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter |
| What you finish with | A dashboard and a short written recommendation | A working app or site plus a README | A tested model and an error analysis |
| Hardest part | Defining the question before drawing the chart | Finishing a small scope | Honest evaluation |
| Good fit if | You like explaining numbers to non-technical people | You like building things people can click | You like experiments and are patient with messy data |
If you are torn between two columns, choose the one where you can already do a small version of the work today. One month rewards depth in a single area.
Skills to have before day one (our self-tests)
Each test takes about an hour. If you cannot do it, spend your first week closing that gap instead of starting the project.
| Track | Can you do this? |
|---|---|
| Data Visualization (Excel) | Take a 5,000-row sheet, build a pivot table, add a chart, and explain in two sentences what the chart does not show |
| Business Analytics | Take a small sales table and answer “which product group lost margin last quarter, and why might that be?” with numbers |
| Power BI | Load two related tables, create a relationship, build one measure, and place it on a report page with a slicer |
| Data Analyst | Clean a CSV with duplicates and missing values, keep a log of every change, then answer three questions with SQL or Pandas |
| Business Intelligence | Describe a dashboard that a sales manager would open every Monday: which five numbers it shows and where each comes from |
| Data Science and Machine Learning | Split a dataset before preprocessing, fit a baseline and one model, and report two metrics |
| Web and Front End | Build a page that works on a phone, validates a form, and passes a basic accessibility check |
| Full Stack and MERN | Build a small form that stores data in a database and shows it back on another page |
| Android and Flutter | Run a two-screen app on an emulator or a real phone and handle the case where no data loads |
| UI/UX Design | Redesign one screen of an app you use and explain three decisions in terms of the person using it |
| Java, Python, C/C++ | Write a function, test it with at least three edge cases, and run the program from the command line |
A worked analytics example: from messy sheet to dashboard
Analytics tracks are where beginners most often produce charts that look fine and say nothing. This is one way to avoid that, using a public retail or sales dataset.
- Write three questions before opening any tool. For example: which region grew slowest, which product group has the weakest margin, and when do returns spike.
- Clean and document. Remove duplicates, fix date formats, decide what to do with blanks, and record each decision in a change log. A reviewer should be able to rerun your steps.
- Define each metric once. Write what “revenue”, “margin” and “growth” mean in your analysis, with the formula, in a data dictionary.
- Match the chart to the question.
| The question is about | A chart that usually works | One to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Change over time | Line chart | A pie chart per month |
| Comparing categories | Sorted bar chart | A 3D column chart |
| Parts of a whole | Stacked bar or treemap with few categories | A pie chart with ten slices |
| Two numbers that might be related | Scatter plot | Two separate bar charts |
- Limit the dashboard. Four to six visuals, each tied to one of your questions. Add a title that states the finding rather than the topic.
- End with a recommendation. Two or three sentences saying what a manager should do or check next, and what you could not conclude from the data.
What “done” looks like on the technology side (our checklist)
| Area | A reviewer can check that |
|---|---|
| Web and Front End | The page is usable at phone width, form errors are clear, images have alt text, and a link to a live version works |
| Full Stack and MERN | A fresh clone runs after the steps in the README, the database schema is described, and secrets are kept out of the repository |
| Android and Flutter | The app starts on a clean install, survives a rotated screen, and shows something sensible when offline |
| UI/UX Design | Three people completed the same three tasks, and your write-up says where each one got stuck and what you changed |
| Data Science and ML | The split happens before preprocessing, a simple baseline is reported, and the failures are listed, not hidden |
| Java, Python, C/C++ | Tests run with one command, errors give a clear message, and the code is organised into functions or classes rather than one long file |
One month, two schedules (our suggestion)
| Week | Analytics focus | Technology focus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Confirm your offer details, pick a dataset, write the three questions, start the change log | Confirm your offer details, scope one feature set small enough to finish, set up the environment |
| 2 | Finish cleaning, define metrics, build the first two visuals | Build the core path from input to output, even if it is rough |
| 3 | Complete the dashboard, test it with a colleague who has not seen the data, fix confusing parts | Add tests, handle errors, and write down what still fails |
| 4 | Write the one-page recommendation, tidy the file, submit before the deadline in your offer email | Write the README, record a short demo if allowed, submit before the deadline |
If the program assigns fixed tasks, use these weeks to organise them rather than replacing them.
Rules that apply to every track
The terms say participation is free with no registration cost, the internship is unpaid, and finishing does not guarantee a job. The certificate is optional: you submit through the official form and pay a small certificate fee, and a digital certificate follows within 10 working days after review. If you skip the certificate, you email your work and receive a free confirmation that the internship is complete. All work created during the internship belongs to Saiket Systems, and you must keep confidential information private. If you do not reply to the offer within the given time, the company may treat the offer as accepted.
One line on the registration forms reads “Your investment today can lead to a brighter, more prosperous future”. Read it as encouragement, not as a fee. The terms state that joining is free, so do not pay anyone to apply.
Two versions of the terms
The saiket.in terms are dated 21 June 2025, and a separate Saiket Systems site publishes terms dated 27 May 2026. They agree on the main points but differ in details you may need.
| Point | saiket.in terms (21/06/2025) | Newer Saiket Systems terms (27/05/2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Where to email work if you skip the certificate | saiketsystems@gmail.com | support@saiket.in |
| Certificate fee wording | A small certificate fee when you submit | A nominal certificate or documentation fee may apply |
| Email communication consent | Not included | Included, with an unsubscribe route |
| Who may apply | Forms say students currently pursuing degrees such as B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, BA, M.Sc. or MBA | The FAQ there says students, freshers, graduates, professionals and other interested people |
Use the version that your offer email links to, and keep a copy of it. If the two disagree on something that matters to you, such as eligibility or where to send work, ask in writing before you start.
Reading the “AICTE Approved” wording carefully
The title and description of the saiket.in internship page use the phrase “AICTE Approved Internships”. The terms on the same site say the program is independently run and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run with any university, government body, college or other organisation unless stated in writing. The registration forms we read do not mention AICTE at all. Read the terms as the controlling text. If a listing on the AICTE National Internship Portal matters for your college requirement, find the listing on the portal itself and check it before you rely on it.
Present your work so a reviewer gets it in two minutes
Write a one-page case study for each project. Keep the headings short and the sentences plain.
| Part | Analytics version | Technology version |
|---|---|---|
| The problem | The business question, in one sentence | The user problem, in one sentence |
| The material | Data source, licence and cleaning steps | Stack, data and main design choice |
| The check | How you validated numbers, such as totals matched to the source | How you tested, with the commands to run it |
| The result | Your finding and recommendation | A screenshot or link and what works |
| The limits | What the data cannot tell you | What fails or is unfinished |
Because the terms make Saiket Systems the owner of the work, ask for written permission, even a short email, before you publish anything, and leave out any data that is not public.
Mistakes that waste the month
- Reporting a number without saying how it was calculated.
- Skipping the data dictionary or the README until the last day.
- Copying a tutorial’s dataset and layout without changing the question.
- Ignoring the offer email, which is the document that sets your real deadlines.
- Treating the certificate as the deliverable instead of the work.
Is it worth it?
It is worth it if you want a structured month to finish one piece of work and you are comfortable that it is unpaid, with no job promised and a fee only if you want the certificate. The analytics tracks suit you if you want a project you can explain to a non-technical reader. The technology tracks suit you if you want something that runs. It is a poor fit if you need a stipend, a placement or a certificate that carries weight without any work behind it. Choose one track, finish one project, and write it up well.
FAQs
Is the internship online? The registration forms we read describe a virtual internship in which selected candidates work remotely.
How long is it? The forms state 30 days, and the terms say your offer email gives the exact period.
Do I need to be enrolled in a degree? The forms say students currently pursuing degrees such as B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, BA, M.Sc. or MBA. Another Saiket Systems page says graduates and professionals may also apply, so confirm for your case before you apply.
Which form do I use? Use the one that opens from your track card. Software and web, data and AI, and analytics and reporting each have their own form.
Can I apply to Flutter, MERN or Data Engineering? They appear as domains on the forms but not as cards on the page. Ask before you rely on them.
Do I need to code for the analytics tracks? The pages do not state a requirement. Excel and Power BI work can be done mostly without code, and SQL is a useful extra.
What does the form ask me? Your email, domain, name, gender, contact number, college, degree, year of study, how you heard about the program, country and acceptance of the terms, plus an optional query box.
Will I get a job? The terms say completing the internship does not guarantee a job with Saiket Systems or any other company.
Do I have to buy the certificate? No. You can submit by email for a free completion confirmation with no certificate.
